Export scripts

On the Administration tab, you export report scripts, semantic check scripts (profiles and rule types), and transformation scripts, as well as macros. This enables you to provide scripts on a different project room.

The following description is on exporting report scripts. The procedure is identical for all scripts, but note the script-specific file extensions.

Prerequisite

You are the script administrator for this tenant.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. In ARIS Advanced Architect, click ARIS > Show Administration Administration.

  2. Click Navigation Navigation in the bar panel if the Navigation bar is not activated yet.

  3. In the navigation tree, click the folder Evaluations Evaluations > Reports.

  4. Click the category (subfolder) in which you manage the script.

  5. Select a script in the table.

  6. In the Start tab bar, click Export Export script. The dialog opens.

  7. Select the path and enter a file name.

  8. Click Save. The Export scripts in use dialog opens.

    It lists all additional scripts (Enabled) that the script requires when running. Active scripts are also exported.

  9. Disable the check boxes for additional scripts that you do not want to be exported, and click OK.

The script export file (arx) is saved. This file is used when importing scripts.
