Create viewpoint mappings

You can create new viewpoint mappings.

Prerequisites

  • The ArchiMate® license is assigned to the ARIS server.

  • An ArchiMate® model type is available to map the viewpoint to.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open the Administration tab.

  2. Navigate to

    Configuration
    Configuration > ConventionsConventions > ConventionsImport/Export > Folder ArchiMate > Viewpoints Viewpoints.

  3. Right-click Viewpoints and New > Viewpoint mapping. The Create viewpoint mapping dialog opens.

  4. In the ArchiMate viewpoint name field, enter the ArchiMate® viewpoint you want to map to the ARIS model type.

  5. Click the ArchiMate® model you want the ArchiMate® viewpoint to be mapped to.

  6. Click OK.

You have created a viewpoint mapping between ArchiMate® and ARIS and the mapping is listed in the Viewpoints area.
