Enable and disable Guided Modeling
You can enable and disable Guided Modeling, which helps you to place objects and connections in the modeling area.

Click ARIS > Options > Model > General > Objects. The Objects options page opens.
Enable the Show guides check box.
Click OK.
Guided Modeling is enabled. When you place or move objects or connections in a model, lines and arrows appear informing you of the orientation and distance of the items from adjacent items. The items snap into place at the position suggested by Guided Modeling.
