How does free-form text behave as an occurrence or definition copy?

You can use free-form text to create occurrence copies or definition copies.

Occurrence copies represent identical free-form text. If you change one of the occurrences all other occurrences of the free-form text will change, as well.

Definition copies have the attribute values of the copied free-form text. If you change definition copies of a free-form text, all others will remain unchanged.
