Display differences successively

You can display the differences successively. You can then navigate to the next or previous difference.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open two versions, or two models, for direct comparison or select any models for comparison from the entire database. Regardless of the settings you make for the model comparison options, different items in the modeling area are indicated by information marks. The Compare tab bar is activated automatically and the Details pane is displayed.

  2. Click Next difference button Next difference or press the F3 key. The highlighting in the modeling area jumps to the next difference and the Details pane displays more detailed information.

  3. Click Previous difference button Previous difference or press Shift + F3. The highlighting in the modeling area jumps to the previous difference and the Details pane displays more detailed information.

  4. To jump directly to the first difference, click First difference button First difference.

  5. To jump directly to the last difference, click Last difference button Last difference.

The relevant difference is highlighted and the detailed information is displayed in the Details pane.
