Import BPMN file

You can import data from a BPMN file to ARIS and use the BPMN diagram that was generated by the import in ARIS.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Select a group.

  2. Activate the Contents tab bar.

  3. Click Import Import > Import BPMN file. The Import BPMN file dialog opens.

  4. Select the BPMN file and click Open. The BPMN import complete dialog provides information about the result of the import. If ARIS contains already BPMN diagrams that have been exported before, a dialog opens. You can choose whether the diagrams in ARIS should be overwritten.

  5. Click OK.

The generated BPMN diagram is displayed. If multiple BPMN diagrams are generated, they are all opened.
