Unlock models
You can unlock permanently locked models in order to release them for editing for all users with the corresponding privilege. The user who locked the items and system users can remove the lock. System users have the Administrator: Unlock menu item to do so.
Prerequisite
Locked models must be closed.
You have the Lock permanently function privilege or are a system user.
Click ARIS >
Explorer. The Explorer tab opens.Open the relevant database, click the relevant group, and select the locked models on the Models tab.
Right-click in the selection.
Click Lock/Unlock >
Unlock. The Unlock models dialog opens in which you can select models for unlocking.Add further models, if necessary.
Click OK.
The dialog closes and the models (and objects, if applicable) are unlocked.
